A Word from Rob . . .

Where were you on September 11th 2001?  I

remember that day and the days that followed as

if they happened yesterday. In so many ways our country and our world have never been the same again. As you probably know this Sunday marks

the 10 year anniversary of those terrible attacks on

our nation. It is hard to turn on the television without seeing some sort of tribute to that day, its victims, its perpetrators, or its heroes. This Sunday will be a powerful day of reflection as we gather for worship

on this important occasion. The songs, the prayers,

the readings, and other elements of the service have been chosen to see the events of 9/11 and its 10

year anniversary through Gospel colored glasses. I hope you will make a point to be present this Sunday

as we remember and actively put our faith in the God who holds the future through this special service.

In Christ,

                 Rob
